Delete your Matiks account

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in at build.matiks.io or open the Matiks app.
2. Open Settings, then Profile.
3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete Account and confirm.
4. We email you a confirmation link. Your account is deleted when you open it. The link expires after 24 hours, and nothing is deleted if you ignore it.

If you can't sign in

Email privacy@maticsapp.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we do.

What is deleted

• Your profile: your name, email address and photo.
• Your password and any sign-in you linked, such as Google.
• Every session, so you are signed out on every device.
• Your membership of every organization and workspace, and invitations waiting for you.

What stays with the workspace

Forms, responses, records, files and everything else in a workspace belong to the organization that owns it, not to one person, so the other members keep them when you leave. To delete that too, the organization's owner deletes the organization — in Settings, Organization, General, Delete organization — which permanently removes every workspace in it and all of their data. If you are the owner and want everything gone, do that first, then delete your account.

Answers you gave to somebody else's form belong to whoever sent the form. Ask them to delete your response, or write to us and we will pass the request on.

What we keep

Payment records for a paid plan are held by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Nothing else about your account is kept once it is deleted. Our Privacy Policy has the rest.
